Mario Ortiz aka MARIO O, is a powerhouse music producer based out of San Antonio, Tx.   He is the CEO and Founder of BABY GRAND RECORDS.   Mario currently tours with several bands including R&B / POP Artist FRANKIE J as well as R&B / FUNK band THE COMMODORES.  Mario most notable is known for his previous role as music director for JAY PEREZ and THE BAND for 18 yrs.  Since Mario has and continues to tour with numerous Tejano Artists within the industry.

    Mario has received numerous awards and accolades in his work and participation in various award winning albums.  Such awards and accolades include - 5 time latin grammy awards, 3 time Latin Grammy Poducer nominations, # 1 on ITUNES Latin Charts, TTMA Keyboardist of the Year,  3 time TTMA Album Of The Year awards (producer) and Tejano Mundial Producer of the Year.
